An inbox assistant you talk to instead of a mail client. Say what to clear, find or draft; Aether scans your mailboxes, shows what it found and only acts after you confirm.
Aether is not a mail client: there are no folders, no compose window and no sent list. You act through one conversation a day on Home. "Delete all newsletters", "find the Lufthansa booking" or "draft a reply to Marina" each become a single card that shows exactly what Aether found.
Behind the conversation, Aether keeps one reading of all your mailboxes. It names Piles from your own mail (Travel, Health, Job applications…), picks a daily Digest of what is time-sensitive, and lets you open any message as a letter. Every surface is a view of that same reading.
The rule that shapes everything: the model proposes, code acts. A model turns your words into an Intent, deterministic tools run it, and anything that trashes, unsubscribes or sends sits behind a Confirm gate in code, not a polite request in a prompt.
The code is private, so the screenshots and recordings below show the product in action.
Live Propose sends only the line to a pinned Claude Haiku through OpenRouter and gets back a kind and words. Code binds the mailbox and mail; a timeout or schema miss is a miss, never a retry.
Cleanup, Unsubscribe, Draft and Send are unreachable until you confirm. The confirm count is exactly what disappears, and trashed mail stays recoverable in Gmail.
The model never sees mail bodies. Analytics are acts, not clicks, and events never carry a body, subject, sender or pile name.
The public sample runs the same loop on fixture mailboxes with a deterministic matcher, so the landing reel and Playwright tests (with axe accessibility checks) stay honest.
